Do I have to do the repairs requested by the buyer?

If the buyer finds things during the inspection phase that they feel need repair, they will submit a Request for Repairs

As always, “everything is negotiable” applies. If you feel the requests are not reasonable, you can try to negotiate an agreement on the repairs. Short of that, the buyer has the right to back out of the escrow due to the inspection contingency not being met.

Other times, instead of fixing the issues listed, the sellers will offer cash credit in lieu of fixing the issues. Again, it’s all negotiable.leiu of fixing the issues. Again, it’s all negotiable.

Bottom line, it’s usually a good idea to fix the items listed, if reasonable and valid.
